We founded the Waters Edge condo in Fort Walton Beach with the belief that everyone can experience a life-changing renewal by stepping away from the stresses of everyday life and embracing God's beautiful creation. While staying at our Waters Edge Fort Walton Beach home, we hope to see lives restored, marriages renewed, and families reconnected. It is our honor to pray for each guest who stays with us. How does beach chair service work?

Simply walk down and let the beach chair service attendant know that you are a guest of Unit 606. The attendant will be happy to set up your two beach chairs and umbrella for you free of charge. (March-October) *Additional beach chair sets are $15 per set (2 chairs & 1 umbrella) per day and can be reserved with the attendant at time of visit.

Are paddle board and kayak rentals available at Waters Edge?

Yes. Paddleboard and kayak rentals are available seasonally (March-October). Reservations can be made with the beach chair attendant. For pricing details and more information, you can contact Sunset Beach Service .

Are there grocery stores close by?

Yes. Publix grocery store (.9 mi), Target (2.7 mi), Walmart (3.4 mi), Sams (3.3 mi), Aldi (2.6 mi)

Yes. There are 10+ restaurants 1 mile or less from Waters Edge 606.

How safe is Waters Edge and Okaloosa Beach?

I have found Waters Edge to be extremely safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will see active, helpful Waters Edge personnel throughout your stay. The personnel are passionate and proud of the work that they do and in keeping high standards of cleanliness and family-friendly grounds. There is a life-guard station directly in front of the Water's Edge complex as well as CPR trained beach chair service staff (seasonally). The Okaloosa County Sheriff's office offer marine and beach patrol daily.

What is there to do on the island?

In addition to roller skating, mini golf, adventure zoo, science center, spa, Gulfarium, Air Force Museum, shopping and bowling, lots of water activities are offered through companies on the island (surfing lessons, kayaking, water park, dolphin & snorkeling cruises, Shell Island excursions etc.)

Are the island beaches less crowded than other Florida beaches?

The Island beaches typically are less crowded than other Florida beaches because: it is an island and not located on a highway that connects cities, there are no high rise buildings (only buildings 6 floors or less are allowed), Eglin Airforce Base make up a lot of the residents on the Island, the further away you go from the Okaloosa Island pier, the less crowded the beach is. The beach directly in front of Water's Edge is normally a lot less crowded than other condo communities like Waterscape and Azure that are close to the pier.

How far away is 30A?

30A is a short, 21 mile drive away from Waters Edge 606! Seaside (29 mi), Rosemary (37 mi), Blue Mtn (25 mi), Watercolor (29 mi).

What are the closest airports?
